We are extremely hard-working, but we’re also a friendly, down-to-earth bunch, and we’re now looking for a like-minded Content Executive to join our growing Content Marketing team.

 

Role profile

 

As a Content Executive, you will be responsible for creating interesting and engaging content for our clients’ websites, social media channels and marketing campaigns.

 

You will also take part in creative ideation sessions to help conceptualise compelling marketing ideas that will form part of the long-term strategy for our clients.

 

In addition to this, you will analyse our client’s websites and provide recommendations for SEO and user experience optimisation.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a Content Executive who is ready for a new challenge in a fast-paced agency and wants to develop their content marketing skills.

 

Core responsibilities

 

You will:

 

-Produce high-quality content that meets our editorial standards and the requirements of our clients’ and their target audiences

-Research clients, target audiences and keywords

-Source comments from industry leaders and experts

-Prepare for and participate in creative sessions

-Collaborate with other teams on content strategy and production tasks

-Work creatively and proactively with the content team to improve our processes and the quality of our services

-Conduct audits of client websites and make recommendations for improving and optimising content

-Track and report on content performance

 

Skills and experience required

 

-Experience of working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment

-Demonstrable copywriting and proofreading experience

-Experience in working on multiple clients / projects at the same time

-A sound understanding of copywriting best practice, content marketing and SEO

-Experience in using Google docs, sheets, presentations and Microsoft Word (tracked changes, comments, formatting, etc), Excel and PowerPoint

-Impeccable grammar

-Excellent attention to detail and organisation

-Commitment to learning and self-improvement

-Must have held a Content Executive or Copywriter role for at least 12 months

-Degree: BA in Journalism, English or equivalent professional qualifications or experience

 

Candidates must have an online portfolio or examples of their work to show prior to interview.

 

Candidates who are successful during the initial interview stage may also be asked to complete a short writing task.
