We are looking for a like-minded Conversion Optimisation Manager/Specialist to help drive our CRO proposition forward, deliver great results for our clients and have fun whilst doing it!

Job Description

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious, analytical, and customer orientated individual to join our team. Working within a new Insight and Analytics department, we’re looking for someone passionate about all things conversion to help support the growth of our CRO services. Reporting into the Head of Analytics and Insight, the successful candidate will be an important recruit who will be key in expanding out our CRO and analytics offering. This recruit will have the autonomy to manage our clients’ conversion strategies, embed new processes in the department, and work alongside talented individuals in the agency to drive forward the client’s growth ambitions.

Reporting To:

Digital Strategy Director

Core Responsibilities:

  • Be a champion of a ‘test and learn’ approach and encourage a continuous optimisation culture
  • Work across all divisions at a Senior Level to champion, influence and drive the agenda for Digital Analytics & Conversion Rate Optimisation
  • Manage multiple major client accounts and lead their conversion strategy
  • Build strong client relationships through weekly update calls and regular client workshops
  • Own/facilitate internal collaborative workshops and client meetings to produce best in class ideas
  • Craft hypothesis for A/B testing and website improvement recommendations based on qualitative/quantitative data and previous optimisation experience to increase conversion rate, increase basket size, reduce bounce etc, ensuring that all KPIs are accurately tracked and reported on
  • Work with our inhouse designers, developers, and account managers
  • Manage projects collaboratively to get them completed efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Deliver analysis of A/B test results to determine the impact on conversion and ROI
  • Contribute to the research for assessment, introduction and rollout of tools and technology platforms a/b testing
  • Be the conversion expert to support digital marketing campaigns, ensuring landing pages are best set up to deliver on the digital marketing team campaign targets
  • Conduct analysis on core customer journeys user heat maps, user replay technology and surveys
  • Undertake deep dive reviews in Google Analytics to outline opportunities/ new hypothesis
  • Produce test summary reports with detailed analysis of performance and recommendations for next steps
  • Review site KPIs on a regular basis to help establish opportunities and prioritise initiatives

Experience/Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of usability best practice and user behaviour
  • 2 years + experience using website analytics tools such as Google Analytics
  • Hands on experience of AB / MVT testing
  • Experience using a CRO tool (Optimizely, Monetate, Adobe Test & Target, VWO etc)
  • Proven experience of conversion rate optimisation initiatives with commercial results
  • You will be self-motivated with a commercial mind-set and have experience of influencing stakeholders in decision-making
  • Have a data-driven and results-focused approach
  • Passionate to continually learn and develop
  • Confidence to participate in presentations and internal workshops
  • Have an inquisitive mind, always problem solving and looking to improve things
  • Be a strong team player with the ability to work with other teams to build strong collaborative relationships

Desired but not required:

  • GTM / Tag Management experience
  • Ideally a candidate with a conversion optimisation agency background
  • Experience in Planning, Conducting and Analysing User Research Techniques, e.g. remote and / or moderated research
