We are looking for a like-minded Conversion Optimisation Manager/Specialist to help drive our CRO proposition forward, deliver great results for our clients and have fun whilst doing it!


Job Description


This is a great opportunity for an ambitious, analytical, and customer orientated individual to join our team. Working within a new Analytics and Insight department, we’re looking for someone passionate about all things conversion to help support the growth of our CRO services.


Reporting into the Head of Analytics and Insight, the successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our CRO and analytics offering. This recruit will have the autonomy to manage our clients’ conversion strategies, embed new processes in the department, and work alongside talented individuals in the agency to drive forward the client’s growth ambitions.


We are looking for someone who is highly organised and confident to work in a fast-paced environment. The role will suit a logical and curious thinker who is able to analyse and interpret data and to follow this up with compelling insight.


You will require strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively keep your clients up-to-date with test progress and results. The ideal candidate will thrive when building client relationships and constantly be looking for opportunities to improve client satisfaction through exceptional test performance.

Core Responsibilities:


-Be a champion of a ‘test and learn’ approach and encourage a continuous optimisation culture

-Build strong client relationships through weekly update calls and regular client workshops

-Work with our in-house designers, developers, and account managers and manage projects collaboratively to get them completed efficiently to meet deadlines

-Craft hypothesis for A/B testing and website improvement recommendations based on qualitative/quantitative data and previous optimisation experience to increase conversion rate and basket size and to reduce bounce etc

-Deliver analysis of A/B test results to determine the impact on conversion and ROI

-Be the conversion expert to support digital marketing campaigns, ensuring landing pages are best set up to deliver on the campaign targets of the digital marketing team

-Conduct analysis on core customer journeys, user heat maps, user replay technology and surveys

-Undertake deep dive reviews in Google Analytics to outline opportunities/new hypothesis

-Produce test summary reports with detailed analysis of performance and recommendations for next steps


Experience/Skills Required:


-Knowledge of usability best practice and user behaviour

-2 years + experience using website analytics tools such as Google Analytics

-Hands on experience of AB/MVT testing

-Experience using a CRO tool (Optimizely, Monetate, Adobe Test & Target, VWO etc)

-Proven experience of conversion rate optimisation initiatives with commercial results

-Have a data-driven and results-focused approach

-Confidence to participate in presentations and internal workshops

-Have an inquisitive mind, always problem solving and looking to make improvements

-Be a strong team player with the ability to work with other teams to build strong collaborative relationships


Desired but not essential:


-GTM/Tag Management experience

-Ideally a candidate with a conversion optimisation agency background

-Experience in Planning, Conducting and Analysing User Research Techniques, e.g. remote and/or moderated research
