We are looking for a like-minded Head of Paid Media to help drive our PPC, shopping, display and paid social proposition forward, deliver great results for our clients and have fun whilst doing it!


Job Description


The Head of Paid Media is a key role within the agency and is at the forefront of driving acquisition strategies for our client base. If you live and breathe digital marketing, thrive on data driven insights and can bring skills and knowledge across PPC (Google and Bing), display marketing and paid social, along with a great understanding of analytics and conversion rate optimization, then we would love to hear from you. You’ll have the opportunity to build and grow your own team as the role evolves.


A successful candidate will have strong skills and experience within paid search, experience of using various PPC tools and platforms. Your primary focus will be creating & overseeing the paid media strategy for our clients working closely with a team of managers and execs to drive growth & efficiency for our clients whilst looking to grow ROI across channels.

Responsibilities of the Head of Paid Media:


  • Management of all paid search channels, including PPC, shopping, display and paid social
  • Experience in bid management, conducting keyword research & competitor analysis
  • Reporting, analysing and interpreting data for campaign performance and feeding back to key stakeholders with proposed actions
  • Maintain detailed standardised reports to communicate paid media performance with key stakeholders within our client’s businesses
  • Create and implement innovative strategies to achieve business targets and continued growth across our client’s paid media accounts
  • Utilising bid management tools to help drive KPIs
  • Embrace PPC automation and devise and deliver key automation initiatives within the agency
  • Manage and lead the PPC, shopping, display and social team
  • Implement internal team processes to ensure work is delivered on time, on budget and profitably
  • Manage regular team reports for both wider business


The skills and requirements of the Head of Paid Media:


  • Ideally a minimum of 5 years’ experience in creating, managing & reviewing a variety of PPC campaigns across Google, Bing, display and social media platforms e.g. Facebook and Instagram
  • Confident in managing all PPC budgets and providing accurate monthly spend forecasts
  • You are commercially minded, appreciating and using the impact digital experiences have on customer outcomes and business results
  • You are keen and excited to become part of a growing agency working across a range of accounts
  • You have strong people management skills, a good team player and have experience of leading a team
  • You are resilient and possess robust client, stakeholder management and presentation skills
  • You have all the relevant training and qualifications
  • Experience working with ad serving platforms, direct and third party bid management platforms, onsite analytics and intelligence tools
