We are looking for a like-minded Senior Marketing Analyst/Head of Analytics with a passion for analysis, ecommerce strategy and optimisation to drive the best results for our clients.

 

Job Description

 

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious, analytical and customer orientated individual to join our team. Working within a new Analytics and Insight department, we’re looking for someone passionate about all things conversion to help support the ecommerce strategy we offer to our clients.

 

Reporting into the Strategy Director, the successful candidate will be an important recruit who will be key in expanding out our consultancy and analytics offering. This recruit will have the autonomy to manage our clients’ channels and conversion strategies, embed new processes in the department, and work alongside talented individuals in the agency to drive forward the client’s growth ambitions.

Core Responsibilities:

 

  • Review client site and channel metrics on a regular basis to help establish opportunities and prioritise initiatives
  • Use data to tell a story. Undertake deep dive reviews in Google Analytics to support client strategies
  • Interact with business partners to understand their goals and objective, develop analytic requirements, provide answers to business questions, make recommendations and join forces in driving business improvement and optimisation
  • Build out reporting templates/solutions across the client portfolio, and deliver ad hoc reports across key campaigns and times of the year
  • Be the conversion expert to support digital marketing campaigns, ensuring landing pages are best set up to deliver on the digital marketing team campaign targets
  • Conduct market research to support ecommerce strategy planning to understand the size of the market and the opportunities for growth
  • Conduct analysis on core customer journeys, user heat maps, user replay technology and surveys
  • Be a champion of a ‘test and learn’ approach and encourage a continuous optimisation culture
  • Support the consultancy ambitions we have for the business by having a key role in how we productise our offering so that our clients can get strategic support in all areas of the business
  • Work across all divisions at a Senior Level to champion, influence and drive the agenda for Digital Analytics
  • Own/facilitate internal collaborative workshops and client meetings to produce best in class ideas

 

Experience/Skills Required:

 

  • Excellent communication skills
  • 3-5 years’ experience in retail and/or ecommerce focused business analytics
  • Proven experience of conversion rate optimisation initiatives with commercial results
  • You will be self-motivated with a commercial mind-set and have experience of influencing stakeholders in decision-making
  • Have a data-driven and results-focused approach
  • An enthusiastic, positive approach and determination to overcome obstacles; results orientation with a focus on quality, efficiency and operational excellence
  • Passionate to continually learn and develop
  • Confidence to participate in presentations and internal workshops
  • Have an inquisitive mind, always problem solving and looking to make improvements
  • Be a strong team player with the ability to work with other teams to build strong collaborative relationships

 

Desired but not essential:

 

  • GTM/Tag Management experience
  • Hands on experience of AB/MVT testing
  • Experience using a CRO tool (Optimizely, Monetate, Adobe Test & Target, VWO etc)
