We are looking for a like-minded SEO Analyst to join our growing search team.  


Job description


You will be responsible for the daily reporting and monitoring of our clients’ websites. This involves creating and running keyword ranking reports, monitoring traffic and revenue in Google Analytics and using various data sources to fill in online dashboards.


Your core remit will be to support the SEO Manager by identifying and diagnosing fluctuations in traffic, revenue, visibility and keyword rankings. You will also perform daily checks using Screaming Frog and Google Search Console to identify any website changes or errors that could cause performance issues.


A secondary part of the role would be to support the SEO team by completing tasks wherever possible. Tasks could range from client set up (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, reports), to SEO tasks like uploading title tags and meta descriptions.


Familiarity with Google ranking factors and the fundamentals of search engine optimisation is required, as the core purpose of the role is to link data trends to SEO performance in order to help the team provide a world class SEO service. 


Skills required


  • You will possess
    • a basic knowledge of SEO
    • knowledge of Google ranking factors, Google Analytics and Search Console


  • You will be able to think creatively, strategically and commercially, to identify & resolve performance issues relating to digital marketing


  • You will possess both excellent verbal & written communication skills


  • The ability to manage your time and prioritise your workload is essential


  • A good working knowledge of Excel is essential


Desirable Skills Required


  • Knowledge and experience of the following is desirable but not essential
    • Google tag manager
    • Html and/or css
    • Moz, Majestic, Searchmetrics, ahrefs and/or other SEO tools
    • SERP (Search Engine Results Page) Analysis


  • The ability to diagnose traffic and keyword ranking fluctuations, and implementing fixes are desirable
