We are looking for a like-minded Technical SEO Specialist to help drive our search team forward while managing a varied collection of client accounts.
You will be responsible for ensuring that our clients websites are optimised to a world-class standard, encompassing technical accessibility, on-page relevance and structural hierarchy.
Your core remit will involve auditing clients’ websites, investigating fluctuations and implementing fixes to improve performance. Therefore, a relentlessly inquisitive nature and commitment to seeing tasks and projects through to completion is essential. Communication skills are also important, and you will regularly be required to attend meetings to present our recommendations to clients and third-party developers.
Familiarity with a variety of CMS platforms is expected, as well as the ability to operate comfortably with the likes of htaccess files, robots.txt rules and crawl logs. Agency experience is desirable, or alternatively a demonstrable ability to work in a fast-paced environment and excellent time management and organisational skills.
-Excellent technical SEO knowledge
-Working knowledge of Google ranking factors
-High level of competency with Google Analytics and Search Console
-Good understanding of a wide variety of CMS platforms
-Good working knowledge of a variety of SEO tools including Moz, Majestic, Searchmetrics etc.
-Problem-solving – ability to think creatively, strategically and commercially to identify & resolve optimisation issues
-Excellent verbal & written communication skills
-Excellent time management and organisational skills
-Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
-Auditing client sites for potential technical optimisation improvements
-Diagnosing traffic and keyword ranking fluctuations, recommending and implementing fixes
-Communication of recommendations with key stakeholders including account managers, clients and third-party developers
-Forming keyword and on-page optimisation strategies
-External link analysis to inform digital PR strategy
-SERP analysis to inform SEO strategy by vertical
-Independently researching industry developments to offer the most up-to-date service to our clients
