In September, we celebrated Bring’s first ever Wellness Month, an entire month dedicated to improving our team’s health and wellbeing.
Operations Director, Tom Rosillo, explains why:
“The wellbeing of the Bring team, both mentally and physically, is something I am really passionate about.
A healthy mind and body is key to a positive culture, improved productivity and better work-life balance.
Sitting down for 8 hours a day is a real concern, I wanted to tackle this with a month-long event of activates and challenges to help our team for good habits and get a bit fitter and more active.”
A personal training and nutrition session
A goal setting session with a professional counsellor
A month long step challenge
Standing/Walking meetings
Extra fruit and healthy snacks in the office
Removal of all fizzy drinks and chocolates from the office
Activities including: A Hike up Rivington Pike, FootGolf, and Trampolining
Winner of the Step Challenge, our Client Strategy Director Oli, achieved a whopping 501,754 number of steps in September, averaging 16,725 steps a day!
14 team members tracked their steps for the entire month, achieving 3,500,000 steps in total or approx 1,750 miles. That’s the same distance as Bolton to Munich…and back!
Go team!
